SDS Speaking at Cincy Day of Agile, 3/26.

Please join us March 26th for a day of Agile learning and information sharing. SDS is scheduled to lead two sessions:

Seven Habits of Highly Effective Chickens, presented by Rob Keefer.

A chicken (stakeholder or manager) has the opportunity to be presented with a wealth of information over the course of an Agile project. Unfortunately, because this information is packaged differently than they are used to, chickens don’t know what to do with the information. In this presentation we will look at 7 practices that the stakeholder role in an agile project can utilize to keep the team focused and working at an optimal level. Attendees will learn specific habits and best practices they can use when working with stakeholders, or modify their own habits if they are the manager/stakeholder.

The Road from Agile Enthusiast to Agile Team Member, presented by Ryan Cromwell.

Agile mechanics can be installed in weeks or even days, but there is a depth to successful Agile teams that is difficult to capture.  In Missing Pieces, we will discuss many of the subtle and overlooked traits, behaviors, and practices of Agile team members by describing high and low points in my Agile journey.  In returning to your budding Agile team you'll see new opportunity to leap beyond sufficient Agile to high performing Agile team by recognizing moments for courage, moments for silence, moments for failure and more.
