Eating your own dog food, also called dogfooding, is a slang term used to reference a scenario in which a company (usually, a software company) uses its own product to demonstrate the quality and capabilities of the product. (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogfooding)

Fortunately, it is also a great excuse to get together with a large group of software developers to share ideas, showcase great software, grow our code toolbox.

One comment we encounter again and again when we speak with prospective clients is: "I didn't know SharePoint could do that." People are continously surprised by the capabilities and robustness of SharePoint 2010.

The first SharePoint Saturday DAYTON had a great turn-out--despite the strong storms that blew through our area the afternoon before, leaving much of the region without power surrounded by numerous tree limbs.

It is a hot day here at SDS--and not just because it's 90 degrees outside. Our local fire department held a training burn on the property right next door.

It was pretty cool to watch them set up and stage the equipment/fire trucks. Then, the flames began, and what a show it was.

Our hats off to the bravery and hard work of all Fire Fighters. Thank you for all you do.

Now, who else could use some ice-cold lemonade?
